my shoulder hurts

1st gymnastics session of the new year. Had to go back to basics on the muscle up ( should have it back by thursday). Roundoffs coming along: back flips appalling. My bridge still need to be better, as does my shoulder flexability to get my arms over. Shoulder very painful. Its going to be lots of walking down walls with my hands.

Bridge over..............

At last my bridging practise is beginning to show results, getting my arms straight and my legs together.

One day I must tell you the story of my "battle for a pair of straight arms" ( just to give you a hint, you cannot do flips with arms that bend and collapse)

Tried a chest prest for the first time since my ccident, and only managed 30k of pain free, cautious, movement. Still, did some muscle up practise and some shoulder press stregthening to assist my hand stand push ups.

A Poor Blogger

I have been a poor blogger. I have been a bad boy. I have been training loads, but not posting anything, but then I have jetted all over the world, have a stack of personal training and weight loss clients and have been focusing on my Gymnastics and Olympic weight lifting, far beyond the boundaries suggested by Crossfit.

Im really trying to understand all the movements so I can teach them fantastically.
Oh by the way, I got my 1st Muscle up on the 3rd of November and my flips are coming along ( if very supported and spotted) and found time for some basic trampolining.

I have had to take my rings inside , so am doing dips on Judo belts off the scaffolding bar. I put my small pull up bar inside, as the wide the grip of the scaffolding bar had slashed my pull up numbers.

My left shoulder still hurts, but I'm managing the condition by upping my strength levels so that any normal movement just doesnt figure.

silly admin day

everything got in the way of doing any activity.

but started work on palms away pull ups: could only manage a poor 10> but no kipping. I started working on deeper pull ups. ie balanced on my bar on my waist and lowering down, ( negatives)
